Santa Handprint Ornaments

OBSESSED!! I LOVE how these salt dough Santa handprint ornaments turned out!

These are going to make the perfect gifts for the grandparents. I will need to make one more batch because I want one set for myself too!  I am going to love looking back and remembering how little all their hands were.   I just used a recipe I found on Pinterest for the salt dough:
*2 cups flour
*1/2 cup salt
*3/4 cup warm water
Mix all the ingredients together and then roll it out using a rolling pin to about 1/4 inch thick (I did this directly on my cookie sheet). I gently pressed their little hands onto the flattened dough and cut out the shape using a butter knife. Then use a straw to make the hole on top of the ornament and place the cookie sheet directly on a sheet pan and place it in the oven at 250 degree F for 1.5 to 2 hours till the ornaments are completely dry. I left it out over night for a day as well. Then use acrylic paint to paint the Santas. I finished with ribbon and pompoms. Inspired by moms on IG and Pinterest!
